Red Loft's Role
Red Loft's role included completing the land transfer from London Borough of Lewisham to Peabody, securing planning permission for a revised master plan, securing the reserved matters planning consent and negotiating letting the main build contract for the scheme.
Added Value
Alongside managing a complicated project, with a variety of interdependent elements, Red Loft secured the necessary consents to deliver the project in the agreed timescale and within the agreed budget. This included a significant reduction in the original estimated build contract by over £9m. This was achieved without any reduction in the quality and specification of the homes and was driven by an awareness of reductions in the sub-contractor market at the time of letting the contract.
